30 x 60 mm ROPP Screwcaps are aluminum closures that are used primarily in the wine and spirits industry. They are applied to bottles with an ROPP threaded finish and with a screw capping machine that can roll the cap down onto the close with appropriate pressure to form a seal and provide an oxygen barrier.

They can be produced with either a Saranex or a tin liner, depending on what kind of beverage is in the bottle.

While these kind of closures have been around for a number of years, they have recently gained popularity in the global wine industry as an alternative closure to cork since there is no chance that the wine can be spoiled from a bad cork. They are especially popular for wines that will be consumed in just a few years.

C&E ScrewCaps

C&E supplies screw caps made by their parent company, Enoplastic, in Italy. They can be decorated in a variety of ways and are made with heavy-gauge aluminum which has all of the performance characteristics required for bottling. C&E maintains stock on popular colors and can customize for higher volumes.

30 x 60mm – must be compatible with appropriate long skirt bottle finish.

Decoration & customization options

Skirt: Rotogravure printing up to 4 colors
Tops: one color rotogravure, hot stamp only or hot stamp & emboss
Embossing: top only with hot stamp
Silk screen decoration: up to three colors on skirt
Foil stamping: top and side
